I’ve been busy
I haven’t posted in a while because… well, I’ve been busy graduating from medical school!!! :D
You may officially call me “Doctor.”
You may also officially use all of your doctor jokes on me. They have not yet gotten old. :)

Celebrating 25 Years of Pixar Animation Studios.
Pure awesomeness.
Mom’s sitting at her computer while I’m throwing together a quick dinner. She looks up at me and says, “I never thought I’d be saying this to you.”
“What?”
“…I really like John Mayer’s music.”
A look of disbelief with a touch of humor unfolds across my face. “Aaaaahahahahahaha!”
“Well, you know, you have all that music on your iTunes, so I listened to some of it. He has this really bluesy sound that I didn’t expect.”
Cue smug smile on my face for the rest of the night. I first began listening to John Mayer about 3 years ago and have received a lot of slack from my mom and brother for it because they think he’s a jerk. No more, I say. No more. Success! haha
To all 4th year medical students and applicable interns:

People regularly run, scream, cross the road, pick up their children and give me evil looks when I take my bubba out. I am sick and tired of it, and see it as a disrespect towards me and my dog, who is a living being with feelings. I was weary of having to tell people ‘YES, he’s friendly/NO, he’s not dangerous/DON’T treat my dog like that. So I thought he could bark it himself, as my voice is hoarse from saying it.
Baby girl, respect is just the minimum.
These things will change
Can you feel it now?
These walls that they put up to hold us back will fall down
This revolution,
The time will come for us to finally win
We’ll sing hallelujah, we’ll sing hallelujah
You meet thousands of people, and none of them really touch you. And then you meet one person, and your life is changed forever.
Maggie: “It isn’t fair! I have places to go.”
Jamie: “You’ll go there. I just may have to carry you.
